DESCRIPTION:The workshop is sold out. It is possible to join the waiting list.\n\nRope around the neck\, holding by the neck and in its most extreme form strangulation is one of the most exciting activities for many people. However\, it is also one of the most dangerous techniques if performed incorrectly. On Saturday we will look at safety and the basics of tying around the neck. On Sunday we will expand that knowledge for use in partial and full suspensions.\n\nOn Saturday we will introduce you to the basics of neck anatomy and safety. We will then use this knowledge to play safely with a rope around the neck. We will also learn basic Hojojutsu style patterns in the more comfortable and safe variants\, but still restrictive forms adapted from the original hojojutsu patterns.\n\nOn Sunday we will expand our knowledge of tying around the neck. We will learn how to enhance almost any tying with a rope around the neck without compromising the safety of our partner. We will see how to use it to create interesting predicaments. Finally\, we'll try a little edgeplay\, but still with an emphasis on safety.\nPre-requisites\nThis workshop is intended for advanced students who are already proficient with suspensions at an advanced level. Two ropes Gote (Takate Kote) knowledge is required.\nBring with you\nParticipants need to bring at least 9 ropes and at least one shorter rope.\n\nEach participant must have safety scissors. We advise to bring also tenugui.\nAbout Peter Soptik and Sansei\nPeter Soptik and Sansei‘s approach to ropes is about a deep connection between two people. They find this connection particularly in traditional kinbaku and are passionate about the Kinbaku LuXuria style. Peter has been studying this style with Riccardo Wildties and Red Sabbath since 2013. Riccardo is a deshi of Naka Akira and his style is an interpretation of Naka Ryu more suited to western riggers and models. \n\nSansei and Peter started their journey together a few years later and now not only study but also research their own interpretation of the style. \n\nTheir tying and their teaching\, includes classical patterns\, aesthetics and also deep surrender to the core\, dark emotions in semenawa and existing for each other. Through kinbaku they pursue things they are passionate about. Among the different flavours they tie and teach are objectification and exposure\, from shame to humiliation\, and some niche topics such as neck rope and arm binders. \n\nPeter has been studying Japanese bondage for a long time. He studied with Kinoko Hajime\, Osada Steve\, Nawashi Kanna and Naka Akira. They taught him the basics\, technique and also the movement\, intimacy and simplicity of the ropes. Today his style is shaped by his studies with Riccardo Wildties and he is a certified instructor of the Kinbaku LuXuria style. \n\nSansei offers a deep surrender to her rigger and lives in an almost altered state of being in the ropes. What is important to her is the natural living through the experience and the power of the rope on the human body and soul. She is both a model and a rigger. Passing her experience from one role to another allows her to understand and pass on deeper insights. \n\nAlthough Naka style is their preferred way of tying today\, they are open to enjoying spontaneity and fun with ropes\, and their personal practice and teaching also includes lighter topics.\nUseful information\nThe workshop will be held in English.\nWorkshop location\nThe workshop will be held in Prague near Anděl in our studio. The exact address will be sent to you by mail after confirmation of your registration.\n\nThe Subspace studio is equipped with futons\, blankets\, kitchen\, shower\, etc.\n\nThe venue will open at 10:45 on both days.\nHow to register\nIt is necessary to register in advance\, places are limited. A registration form can be found below (you can translate the form using language flag at the end of the page). The price is per couple. Advance payment and a partner is required.
